I'm a graphic novelist, print maker, textile artist, small press publisher, teacher and event organiser. I graduated in Fine Art Printmaking at the RCA in 2003. I make experimental graphic novels and handmade comics utilizing unusual materials such as embroidery, pressed flowers and fire. In 2012 I won the First Graphic Novel Prize. My graphic novel's The Black Project and A Thousand Coloured Castles are published by Myriad Editions. I'm a tutor in Foundation Studies at City & Guilds of London Art School, and a visiting lecturer in Illustration at the University of Lincoln. I also organise the South London Comic and Zine Fair.
I run workshops in linocut, monoprint, embroidery and all aspects of comics, zine and graphic novel making at colleges, universities, shops, book fairs and festivals. Contact me below if you would like me to run a workshop.
